Peace Project is an independent community initiative bringing people together through practical projects, cooperation and education.
A communal statement of intent — unity, compassion, and constructive action
Hello all,
We have come to a point in society where we need to come together as one race and set aside our differences. We are restricted by our greed and our need to fulfill our own agendas.
So, what we are going to do is create a method to bring about change. This method may feel a little abstract and incoherent at first, but there is a deeper vision. We need to create a level of cooperation and find solutions—not create more problems.
This independent community initiative is focused on building the structures and support networks necessary to address the issues that must be changed. At the moment, we are trapped by several psychological challenges, such as capitalism and what it means for our identity, and how we perceive current affairs.
Currently, people are picking sides and creating war—not just on our TV screens, but in a way that is killing families, taking lives, and creeping into our homes and streets. If we don't stop this situation, it will soon be coming through our doors.
Essentially, to stop this impending doom, we need to shift into proactive action and stand for peace, justice, and the reduction of crime.
No one person has all the answers.
Firstly, we need to educate our communities on how not to discriminate—between us and others. We must strive toward a unifying cause as humans, rather than accepting the enemy narratives the TV or news tells us to believe. Remember, propaganda is real and affects us all on a deep level.
We need to cultivate compassion for all sentient beings, including understanding the roles of animals and plants in our daily lives.
We must come together as a community, create power as a group, and discuss problems—dealing with them systematically through resources and knowledge.
